Data-center power forecasts climb as community opposition grows

Inside Climate News reported that BloombergNEF now estimates U.S. data centers could require 194 gigawatts of electricity by 2035, 83% more than its estimate six months earlier and roughly one-fifth of U.S. electricity demand.
