Solar Philippines Nueva Ecija Corporation disclosed that 600 MWac of MTerra Solar Phase 1 began commercial operation on August 26 under a power-supply agreement with Meralco. The company said a final grid-connection certificate covers the safe connection and operation of 950 MWac of solar capacity and 825 MW of battery storage. Another 250 MWac under the same supply agreement remains planned for the coming months.
