WMO flags dust-storm risks across more than 150 countries
What happened
The World Meteorological Organization's latest Airborne Dust Bulletin says global average dust concentrations in 2025 were similar to 2024, but major regional events hit China, North Africa, the Middle East, and the U. S. -Mexico border.
Why it matters
