ACC Community

Build a climate-aware community one useful step at a time.

ACC now has the foundation for real member accounts: a public community front door, a Supabase-powered login page, and a member dashboard for profiles, project ideas, posts, and saved actions.

Member area

The community can now grow into a real app.

The public page still explains the community, while Supabase handles the account layer. Once your Supabase project URL and anon key are added, members can create accounts, sign in, save profile details, submit topics, and track simple action steps.

Phase 1

Start with people, not software.

A strong community should grow from real interest, useful topics, and trust. This first version gives people a clear way to raise their hand, share what they care about, and help shape what ACC builds next.

The forum can come later when there are enough active people to make it worth moderating and protecting from spam. For now, the goal is to gather the founding circle and learn what they need.

UsefulPractical climate education, solar questions, sustainable living ideas, permaculture, local projects, and real-world action.
RespectfulA calm place for questions, learning, disagreement, and progress without turning every topic into a fight.
BuildableStart simple, collect interest, then add member resources, meetups, and a forum when the timing makes sense.

What members can help with

A community should make action easier.

This first ACC member space can become a practical hub for people who want to learn, help, and build better habits together.

Sustainable homestead garden and food-growing areas

Sustainable living

Share simple changes, home projects, energy savings, food waste reduction, garden ideas, and progress over time.

Solar planning desk with bills and checklist

Solar questions

Help people understand quotes, payback, installation steps, incentives, batteries, and what to ask before signing.

Climate action planning table

Local action

Organize neighborhood projects, tree planting, cleanup days, charity drives, topic requests, and education ideas.

Community hub

Choose where you want to plug in.

Until ACC has a full login system or forum, these topic rooms give people a simple way to start conversations, suggest resources, and tell ACC what kind of community would be useful.

Sustainable living

Daily habits and home projects

Recycling, food waste, energy savings, home upgrades, lower-impact buying, and realistic routines.

Solar

Quotes, payback, and install questions

Help people understand proposals, batteries, incentives, electric bills, roof condition, and good questions to ask.

Permaculture

Gardens, soil, water, and land care

Food gardens, compost, rainwater, shade, native plants, habitat, and resilient yards.

Local action

Projects people can organize nearby

Cleanup days, tree planting, school projects, community solar, charity drives, and neighborhood resilience.

Education

Questions and research topics

Suggest guides, ask for plain-language explainers, share sources, and help improve the education center.

Future forum

Help shape the member space

Tell ACC what a useful forum should include before the platform is chosen and launched.

Starter discussion board

Early forum topics to build around.

This is a preview of the kind of forum structure ACC can grow into. For now, each topic helps people send ACC a useful first message.

Solar

Is my solar quote actually good?

A place for questions about roof condition, panel count, payback, batteries, incentives, and confusing proposal language.

Sustainable living

What should I change first?

A practical thread for people who want a simple starting point instead of a giant lifestyle overhaul.

Local action

Can ACC help organize a local project?

Ideas for cleanup days, school resources, neighborhood planting, local sustainability groups, and charity support.

Community roadmap

Step-by-step, so it can actually work.

ACC can grow the community in layers instead of trying to launch everything at once.

1Founding member list

Collect names, emails, interests, and project ideas so ACC knows what people actually want.

2Newsletter and updates

Send practical updates, new guides, member questions, solar resources, and project highlights.

3Member resources

Create downloadable checklists, sustainable living plans, solar quote worksheets, and local action templates.

4Community forum

Launch a moderated forum when there are enough active members to make it valuable and manageable.
