Donation transparency
ACC is committed to openness, accountability, and making donation-allocation records available to anyone who requests them.
After a donation
For ACC-managed choices, ACC will email a record matched to the destination and tracking reference saved before checkout. For NatureJAB, the donor leaves ACC and gives directly to JAB Innovations; JAB Innovations or its payment processor supplies that donation record, and ACC does not independently receive or verify the payment.
The intended allocation model
Only donations whose saved destination is Donate directly to ACC are retained for ACC’s climate education, practical action resources, community tools, operations, and public reporting. ACC does not keep gifts assigned to outside recipients as support for ACC; those gifts are allocated to the chosen organization (or one ACC selects).
For ACC-managed choices, the donor saves one destination and receives an ACC tracking reference to paste into GoDaddy checkout Notes. ACC staff manually reconciles the reference and email across the preference submission and payment notice. After allocation, ACC emails the record associated with that match. For outside recipients, the record identifies the organization, amount sent, transfer date, and available receipt or transaction confirmation. For gifts to ACC, it identifies ACC as the recipient and describes the recorded ACC purpose.
NatureJAB uses a separate direct route. Selecting it reveals JAB Innovations’ official donation page. The donor completes the gift with JAB Innovations, not ACC, so ACC does not receive, transfer, or independently verify that payment. Any receipt or payment record comes from JAB Innovations or its payment processor.
